Second floor plan. The balcony is connected to the apartment internally via a floating wooden staircase. It opens onto the outdoors and affords wonderful views across town.
The kitchen boasts a linear layout and combines cheerful colors with cold elements such as the cement in the false ceiling and the white walls. The change of flooring and a steel door visually separate the spaces.
This restoration is in fact a comprehensive project that includes expansion works and the recovery of a property originally built in 1958.
One of the main interventions consisted of adding a new floor and expanding the fagade vertically, always respecting the existing architectural language. The interior was completely remodeled except for the first floor, where the original finishes were maintained. The central staircase was restored and a section added to extend it up to the third floor. Skylights were put in at strategic points to allow daylight to enter the whole of the home.
