The aim of the work was to renovate a house from the start of the twentieth-century, located in Chene-Bougeries, Switzerland. The design proposed making specific use of each space and achieving an important visual change through the use of new colors and light sources. The idea was to establish a complex relationship between the new and old structures, achieving a combination of juxtaposed styles.
With these alterations, the architects sought a new indivisible entity The spatial sequence is the following: ten rooms and ten different ways of using color in each space. The original construction was preserved as much as possible, with the aim of simply giving it a new, more contemporary, air.
Floor plan. The kitchen, dining room, living room and library are on the ground floor, along with the entrance hall. As the house is a completely isolated building, each room opens onto the garden.
