Built on the site of the original Pelham Manor, this country house overlooking Long Island Sound was built by Robert Bartow, a descendant of the Pell family, who originally settled this area. Its restoration was undertaken by the International Garden Club, which built the charming formal terrace garden in front of the house. Its Greek Revival interiors are a sensitive approximation of the original.
