A MAGIC SPELL
You can’t get more romantic than the Caprifoglio range from Designers Guild, available through Home Fabrics. Painterly florals are combined with small geometrics in this Swedish-inspired scheme. Modern touches like the side table and armchair bring the look right up to date.
A COUNTRY COOL
To create the contemporary country feel in the Van der Vyver family’s Durban home, Annel Scholtz of Dune Designs painted some of their existing furniture white and re-covered pieces in pale blues and trendy navy geometric patterns. A custom-designed cabinet houses their china collection. The fabric on the chairs is from Black Fabrics.
A TASTE OF PROVENCE
âœI’m mad about Proven£al style, which is why I wanted this look in our new kitchen,â says Debbie Wells of Durban. Designed by interior decorator Lee Moon and made by Bespoke Designs, it features cabinetry in a combination of soft blue and white. âœIt works so well with our accessories.â
A BLUE YONDER
One of the key colours this summer is indigo. Make the most of it with a mix of ikats and geometric patterns on a whiter-than-white background and keep the accessories clean and graphic. All furniture and accessories from Head Interiors.
