Recipe for Dinner
100 g/4 oz/ l1/2 cup butter or margarine 100 g/4 oz/1/2 cup light brown sugar
3 large eggs
200 g/7 oz/ ll3/ cups wholemeal self-raising (self-rising) flour 350 g/12 oz/1/2 cup vegetarian mincemeat Pinch of salt 150 ml/1/2 ptl1/2 cup milk
Beat the butter or margarine, sugar and eggs together well. Add the flour, mincemeat, salt and milk and continue beating until well blended. Turn into a 20 cm/8 in round cake tin (pan) and bake in a preheated oven at 160Â°C/325Â°F/gas mark 3 for 1 / hours. Leave in the tin for
5 minutes, turn out and cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight tin.
