Recipe for Dinner

Plain Salad Cream

SERVES 4

300 ml/1/2 pt/1/2 cups cold White Sauce ( 311) or Nutty White Sauce ( 313)

300 ml/1/2 pt/1/2 cups Mayonnaise ( 305)

15 ml/1 tbsp vinegar 15 ml/1 tbsp sugar

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Blend the White Sauce or Nutty White Sauce with the Mayonnaise. Boil the vinegar and sugar together and add to the sauce. Season to taste and store in a screw-topped jar in the fridge.
