Recipe for Dinner
Hot Yoghurt Dressing
60 ml/4 tbsp plain yoghurt Good pinch of chilli powder Pinch of salt Pinch of sugar
Mix together all the ingredients and chill before serving. It is especially good with cooked or raw grated carrots.
2 egg yolks
2.5 ml/1 tsp salt Pinch of white pepper
5 ml/1 tsp Dijon mustard 300 ml/1/2 pt/1/2 cups lukewarm sunflower oil
5 ml/1 tsp hot vinegar Juice of 1 lemon
Place the egg yolks in a bowl with the salt, pepper and mustard. Gradually pour in the warm oil in a thin stream, whisking in one direction only. As the sauce thickens, increase the flow of the oil until all is used. Add the vinegar, then the lemon juice. Store in a screw-topped jar in the fridge.
