A contrast to the modern aesthetic of the kitchen, the connecting casual dining area is anchored on a long wooden table from a warehouse in the US, which the lady of the house paired with barn chairs originating from France. “This dining area is equivalent to the couple’s bedroom: we cook together, we bake together, we eat and discuss everything,â says the lady of the house.
“We’ve had this baby grand piano for 12 years now,â the homeowner shares. The family of musicians typically gathers in this secondary living area to play the piano or guitar, sing collectively, or simply engage in conversations.

The wife wanted their bedroom to be as intimate and homey as possible because this is where the couple gets to bond with their children. “At the end of the day, my kids all sit here and lounge around. We watch movies and also have prayer time,â she shares.
