Our tradition is to share a glass of dry cherry (fortified wine) at the bar every evening at 5.30pm. We have done this almost daily since we were married. John’s favorite room is the main lounge.
Jeanie likes to lay the dining table with one of the five different table cloths and serviettes sets she got from Nice, France.
We treasure an original painting done by Arthur Delaney, who was a student of Laurie and that was a gift from John’s father to his mother.
One of our decor favorites is a brass German sub-marine clock that we got at a ship breakers’ yard off the coast of Scotland.
