A two-bedroom apartment with views of the Atlantic Ocean and Table Mountain, an open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas, plus a wrap-around balcony clients’ artwork for a more personal feel. She also designed a large display unit for the opposite wall and added mirrored panels to reflect light and make the area appear larger.
The armchairs in the living room were in good condition, so they were covered in a new fabric to match the rest of the home.
For the kitchen, Joy and Bobby asked for plenty of storage space and an island. Essentially I needed to fit a large kitchen into a small space, laughs Cheryl, who rearranged the floor plan. The colours and textures also played a key role in keeping the kitchen uncluttered. The white cabinets look fresh as do the solid grey glass splashbacks.
We can’t get over the transformation.
