A Riot of Color
If your style is lots of colorful florals you might choose a Liz Claiborne mix-and-match affair. The set comes with a bed skirt, pillow shams, pillowcases, duvet cover, and draperies or curtains to match. Along with this you’ll also find wallpaper borders (not full rolls of wallpaper, although I’m sure these are also available in paint and wall-covering stores). In the bath arena you get the shower curtain, bath mat, wastebasket, towels, tissue-box cover, and toothbrush holder to match.
Do-It-Yourself Customizing
A friend of mine found her shower curtain wasn’t long enough for her shower, so she solved the problem by buying an extra single sheet (you can get all the items separately) and making the bath curtain from this. She then added an inexpensive, clear shower-curtain liner. To save money she cut apart an extra pillow case and used the fabric to cover a plain wastebasket and tissue-box cover. She simply glued it on, and found they looked great for a lot less than it would have cost to buy the prefabricated ones.
