Vienna. The mixture of eras and continents is unusual, but it achieves a harmony through colour and the fact that the various patterns and forms are all very stylized. The patterns of the fabrics in the bedroom are altogether more graphic. Fortuny’s Geometric’ and a Zoffany stripe are combined for the dress curtains, blinds and bedcover. A series of Constellation’ pictures by Miro is hung against the cupboard doors, while a kimono collage-painting by Andrea Tana decorates the wall above the bed. In the adjoining bathroom, there remains a vestige of the flat as Lyn Rothman first saw it.
