Vienna. The mixture of eras and continents is unusual, but it achieves a harmony through colour and the fact that the various patterns and forms are all very stylized. The patterns of the fabrics in the bedroom are altogether more graphic. Fortuny’s â˜Geometric’ and a Zoffany stripe are combined for the dress curtains, blinds and bedcover. A series of â˜Constellation’ pictures by Miro is hung against the cupboard doors, while a kimono collage-painting by Andrea Tana decorates the wall above the bed. In the adjoining bathroom, there remains a vestige of the flat as Lyn Rothman first saw it.
