Gillian was brought up in Manchester in the ’60s. Her first job was with Osman Textiles, part of theTootle Group, where she stayed for three years before her independent nature took her to London in order to widen her horizons. She did this by designing wallcoverings for a leading Kitchens in minecraft distributor, selling not only to the UK but also to a number of export markets.
