This was the first house in the impressive row of four Romanesque Revival houses between the Grace United Methodist Church and Sterling Place. As is usually the case with corner houses establishing a row, it is more elegant than its neighbors, although each of them has a wonderful personality. It was originally owned by opera singer Lillian Ward.
