This is a large, four-bedroom house ideal for entertaining. All the living areas and bedrooms are north facing to capture maximum light and sun during the cooler seasons.
Entry is from the south and east, adjacent to the triple garage and driveway.
A walkway leading to the front door runs along the southern facade of the house.
The staircase to the bedrooms on the first floor is accessed from the double-volume lobby. A skylight provides natural light in the lobby and on the staircase.
The angles of the lobby and studio create interesting spaces and are carried through from the entrance walkway and driveway to the covered patio and balconies on the other side of the house.

There are windows only on the ground floor of the southern facade so as to provide maximum privacy from the bedrooms on the first floor to neighbours on the southern boundary.
The lobby leads to the garage, guest toilet, studio and lounge. The studio has a door to the wooden deck that surrounds the covered patio and forms a walkway along the front of the house.
The lounge has a bar area and doors leading to the covered patio, which has a built-in braai. A double-sided fireplace opens into the lounge and adjacent dining room. Sliding stacking doors interlink the lounge and dining room to the patio, allowing for the creation of one large entertainment area.
