Recipe for Dinner
1 quantity Brandy Snap Baskets
Sweetened whipped cream A few drops of vanilla essence (extract)
About 16-20 small strawberries
Make the brandy snap baskets. Leave to cool. Fill with sweetened whipped cream flavoured with vanilla, and top with small strawberries.
Almost Instant Trifle
410 g/14 1/2 oz/1 large can fruit in natural juice 300 ml/1/2 pt/1/2 cups plain yoghurt Clear honey
Drain the fruit, reserving the juice. Chop the fruit, if necessary, and add to the yoghurt with enough juice to make it the consistency you prefer. Spoon into wine goblets. Chill before serving drizzled with a little honey.
