There are many church buildings in Manhattan with stained glass windows from the studios of Louis Comfort Tiffany, but those with Tiffany interiors are rare, and this is one of them. The altar, and much of the rest, is a dazzling display of mosaics and glass. The rectory behind it, like several in the area, is at odds with the regular grid pattern of the street. It probably conforms with the meandering route of the old Bloomingdale Road that was straightened to become Broadway.
